Amy Debrecht received her MFA in poetry writing from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2004. She has been published in Poet Lore and Flint Hills Review, and has a poem in the next issue of Sou'wester. For River Styx, she serves as a poetry editor, as well as the organizer of their summer reading series "Hungry Young Poets."
