Bongao Wedding from Issue 20
Consider that Muslim moon: fertile, tumescent
WIth the curve and breadth of a groom’s desire.
The man is restless in the rooms of his cheekskin
And his thighs are rock-filled with the bride.
Take their splendid bodies to the edge of water.
Swim with them till you touch the shore of Sabah:
Beneath the wedding rice strewn as starlight —
Till you find other moons under the nuptial dress.
