Preorders are now open for our first print edition in almost two years. If you've been keeping up with our blog, The Styx, and our online edition of the magazine, then you'll know we've been quite busy rebuilding the empire after our 2022-23 hiatus. Maybe you read about it in the Ladue News earlier this month. There are a lot of exciting new changes unfolding at River Styx, but we're thrilled to be getting back to our roots with the new print edition. It's a kind of welcome-home party that we're throwing for ourselves. And for you!
This issue features new and selected writing from a brilliant slate of established and emerging writers. There's new fiction from Katya Apekina, Mark Mayer, Meera Rohit Kumbhani, and Robert Nazar Arjoyan, new poetry from Mitchell Glazier, Jake Fournier, and James Crews, and new essays from Jane Wong and Sarah Viren.
We've even included some of our favorite selections from our online edition this past year by Fortunato Salazar, Katy Chrisler, Justin Cox, and Claire Walla.
